DIAMONDS AND ME
Twenty four years ago
I had the opportunity to buy 35 investment diamonds carefully selected as
to get different qualities, weights, colors, clarities and prices, which is
always important in any kind of investment or collection.
I bought them at wholesale prices from a private collector who proved me
it was a fine choice. He provided for me G I A ( Gemological Institute of
America, worldwide known ) reports for each one and invited me to see them with
a gemologist appraiser of my choice before buying.
They were in a safe in GENEVA and in LAUSANNE at the time ( Switzerland ), I bought them
and they are still there.
Of course, you may purchase diamonds not only for investment purposes or
as a collector but for a quite special event in your life. In this occasion you
may want to offer what are symbols of the most purity, sparkling, everlasting
perfection all over the world : you may choose exceptional diamonds like
Monarchies or V.I.P. during history, offering magnificent rings or necklaces.
And as well as for investment, collection or exceptional event, you have
to be quite reassured about the quality of your choice.
The time has come for me to resell my diamonds and I think the way
I did this twenty four years ago is always the best way for a buyer who intends
to realize a fine purchase, whatever his motivation is.
It is well known that, with the best interest of the whole profession in
mind, the diamond market has been tightly controlled by DeBeers since more 100
years . This provides in the long run a quite certain increase in value and give
protection under very few volume against all events because of the same
international appraisal in all countries all over the world.
